Transfer rates are quoted in US Dollars but will ne converted from US Dollars to Rands at the ruling conversion rate at the time of the final invoice.

• Single supplement an additional 50% on the regular rate
• Children aged 7 – 15 years receive a 20% discount off the applicable adult rate
• Suites 24 and 26 (include a 3rd single bed) permit a child to share with adults at a 50% discount off the adult sharing rate

• Collection from Botswana immigration at Kasane on the banks of Chobe River, Impilila airstrip in Namibia or Kasane airport in Botswana
• Accommodation and all meals
• All soft drinks, mineral water, teas and coffee
• Quality wines and beers with meals and during game viewing activities
• Water-based game viewing and bird watching on tender boats
• A land-based cultural tour of a local village
• A land-based half- day 4×4 game viewing in Botswana’s Chobe National Park
• Tiger & bream fishing in season

 RATES EXCLUDE:

• Alcoholic beverages (other than wine and beer at meal times and during game viewing activities)
• Additional transfers
• Private guiding or additional safari activities
• Visa Fees
• Gratuities

 CHILDRENS POLICY:

• Children 7 years and older accompanied by an adult are welcome
• A Child under 16 years of age will be charged 50% of the single rate; when accommodated on a sleeper couch in a standard suite.
• Please note that only 2 suites have sleeper couch facilities.
• Children under 16 years of age will receive a 20% discount off the regular rate when occupying a standard bed.
• Children 16 years and older are subject to adult fares.

 ARRIVAL/ DEPARTURE TIMES: 

• Check–in time is between 15h00 and 16h00 and check-out time is at 10h00 on the final day
• NB – Kasane Immigration on the Chobe River closes at 16h30 and guests are advised to arrive no later than 16h00
• Requests for an early check-in or late departure will be on request but cannot be guarantee

ACCOMMODATION:

Room Types:

• Zambezi Queen offers 10 Suites and 4 Master Suites
• 2 of the above suites incorporate sofa couches which can be used by a child under the age of sixteen.
• All Suites and Master Suites are en-suite with private balconies, king size beds (can on request be divided into twin beds), and are furnished to the highest level. Two of the four Master Suites have their own private deck with outdoor furniture and the remaining two having superb panoramic views with doors and windows on two sides.

In-room facilities:

• En-suite bathrooms
• Private balconies overlooking the Chobe River
• Full length sliding shutters for both privacy and protection from the sun
• Sliding mosquito net doors
• Floor mounted fan in each Suite
• Private safes

OFF BOARD ACTIVITIES:

• Water-based game viewing on tender boats enabling close-up viewing in an environment where the animals do not feel threatened.
• Zambezi Queen has its own guides, all groomed by Garth Thompson, world-renowned expert in the field of guiding in Africa.
• Tiger and bream fishing in season
•  Bird watching from tender boats and Zambezi Queen
• A private small game viewing boat including a guide can be hired at an additional cost of R975 per day
• A land-based cultural tour of a local village
• A land-based half- day 4×4 game viewing in Botswana’s
• Chobe National Park

ACTIVITIES IN AREA (ADDITIONAL CHARGE):

• A light aircraft or helicopter is available for transfers to/ from Victoria Falls, including a sightseeing tour over the Falls
• 9 hole golf course at Kasane
• Spa facility in Kasane (subject to availability)
• Full day return trip to Victoria Falls by land transfer

GENERAL:

• Loud music is absolutely not permitted due to National Park regulations
• While it cannot be guaranteed, cell phone coverage in most areas is available
• At the sole discretion of the captain, the routing or itinerary may be altered due to weather conditions or water levels which fluctuate depending on the time of year.

 PAYMENT TERMS:

• In order to secure a booking, a non-refundable 30% deposit is required
• The full balance is required 90 days prior to departure.
• If a booking is made less than 90 days prior to departure, full payment is required to confirm the booking.

 CANCELLATION POLICY:

• If a cancellation is made 121 days or more prior to departure, the deposit will be refunded less R1 000 service charge per person
• If a cancellation is made 120 – 91 days prior to departure, all deposits are non-refundable
• If a cancellation is made 90 days or less prior to departure, full payment will be applied as the cancellation penalty

GROUP BOOKING POLICY:

• Any party reserving 10 or more suites is considered a group booking, in which case a 10% discount will apply.

  PART BOAT BOOKED (1-9 cabins)

• The full single supplement rate will apply for tour guides staying onboard
• Subject to availability, a tented option is available at R1 000 per night
• In the case that all suites are not full on arrival, the guide will be accommodated onboard at 50% of the full single supplement rate

 GROUP BOOKINGS (10- 14 cabins)

• 50% of the full single supplement rate will apply for tour guides staying onboard
• Subject to availability, a tented option is available on a complimentary basis
• In the case that all suites are not full on arrival, the guide will be accommodated onboard on a complimentary basis
